Aurora Size Guide

Take an extra minute to measure your foot properly: you’ll get the right size straight away, save time, and help us reduce unnecessary shipments, lowering CO₂ emissions.

Don’t guess your size and don’t automatically rely on your sneakers or other brands: the Aurora boot has a toe cap and safety components that change how the fit feels. With this method, we have fitted over 98% of customers correctly.

What you need

• An A4 sheet/cardboard (or large enough to fit your whole foot)
• A wooden pencil (better than pens/markers or a mechanical pencil)
• A ruler or a measuring tape
• The same socks you will wear with the boots

Tips before you start

• Measure in the late afternoon/evening: your foot is slightly larger.
• Measure both feet and use the larger measurement.
• Ask someone to help you with the tracing (more accurate).

How to measure

1) Get into position and draw the two lines correctly

Put on the socks you will wear with Aurora, sit on a chair, and place your foot on the sheet/cardboard. Keep your knee and ankle at 90° and your foot relaxed.

Hold the pencil perfectly perpendicular to the paper (90°) and draw two lines:

• one following the outline of the back of the heel;
• one following the outline of the toes;

(*Avoid tilting the pencil or sliding it under your foot.)

2) Measure in millimeters

Using a ruler, measure in millimeters the straight distance between the two outermost points of the two lines (from heel to toe). If you’re unsure, measure twice and use the larger value. You can round up to the next millimeter.

3) Enter the measurement in the calculator

Enter the measurement in the calculator: you’ll get the recommended size, the inner length of that size, and the expected millimeters of free space.

The calculator automatically compensates for pencil thickness (4mm) and already accounts for normal foot changes during the day, such as slight spreading after spending time standing.

Note: since these are lace-up boots, instep height is not a problem: you can adjust the laces to make them comfortable.
